Using Extsm to sort your data files enables you to:

   *   use either quick sort or insertion sort techniques

   *   choose ascending or descending key ordering

   *   use an externally supplied collating sequence

This chapter describes the call interface, how you use Extsm to sort data
files and shows the files you should use to link Extsm into your
application.
