Forecasts Command 

The Forecasts command appears under the Draw menu.


            

When you select the Forecasts command, you will see the following
Forecasts command dialog box.


            

The Forecasts command dialog box lets you choose the following
forecasting options:

   *   Metrics.

   *   Trend Method.

   *   X-Axis.

   *   Ignore Weekends.

   *   Points Every.

   *   Dates.

   *   Shift.

   *   Available Logfiles.

When you click on  NEXT, you see the second screen of the Forecasts
command dialog box. 


            

Use the NEXT screen to choose the following options:

   *   Application Name.

       When you select an application, its name appears in the
       Application Name box on the first screen of the Forecasts command
       dialog box.

   *   Business Unit File.

          *   Filename.

              You can type in an exact filename here.

          *   Files.

              The Files list box lists all business unit files (.BUS
              extension) contained in a chosen directory.  Highlight a
              filename to choose it.

          *   Directories.

              You can use the Directories list box to change directories
              and locate business unit files.

       When you select a business unit file, its name appears in the
       Business Unit File box on the first screen of the Forecasts
       command dialog box.

   *   Show Threshold.

       Use the Show Threshold option to draw a threshold line (at the
       chosen percentage) on your graphs.
