Producing Forecasts Manually 

This section explains how to use the calculations on the Stats report to
generate other forecasts.  It gives linear, exponential, and business
units examples.  You probably will not do this very often, but
occasionally you may find it the fastest way to get another forecast.

The technique is simple:  You generate the Stats report on any displayed
forecast.  The "model" or calculations block of the report gives you the
formula used to produce the forecast.  By plugging new numbers into the
formula, you can quickly generate a new forecast.
