Chapter 13  Basic Disc Manager Tasks 

The Disc Manager Utility (DISCMGR) provides a set of commands that you
enter to perform various shared resource tasks on the HP 3000.  commands
are explained in detail in Chapter 15, "Disc Manager Commands." This
chapter provides step-by-step instructions for DISCMGR's basic tasks.

Keep in mind that most of the DISCMGR commands can be abbreviated.  Their
abbreviations are listed in Table 15-1.

This chapter explains the following procedures:

   *   Connecting to a shared disc

   *   Converting and copying files

   *   Working with shared disc directories and files
