HP Resource Sharing for MPE/iX

STATUS 

The STATUS command lets you examine information about shared discs and
devices.  Several options are available so that you can examine specific
information.  Some of these options are available only to those with SM
or NM capabilities.

Where used:  SHARE>


NOTE  You can also enter the SHARE STATUS command at the RESMGR> prompt.


To display all the shares in your logon group: 

STATUS

To examine other status information: 

                        [PASSWORD          ]
STATUS [[PRINTINFO]    ][ACTIVITY          ]
       [=\account\group][DEVICE = {DISC   }]
                        [         {PRINTER}]

PRINTINFO        Printer and plotter information, including any formatter
                 or environment files.

\account\group   Account and group location of the disc to access, if it
                 is other than your logon.  You can use an asterisk (*)
                 as a wildcard in either the account or group
                 specification.

PASSWORD         Passwords associated with the displayed sharenames.

ACTIVITY         Current connections.

DEVICE=DISC      Status of shared discs only.

DEVICE=PRINTER   Status of shared printers.

For example, to examine the status of all printers, enter:

     STATUS DEVICE = PRINTER
