HP 3000 Configuration Problems The following configuration and usage problem can occur when you start the HP 3000. This message appears on the system console: MISSING USER FOR "PCUSER.SYS,PPC" ON LDEV "101" This example has been truncated to highlight more clearly the key elements for solving your configuration problem. The user PCUSER was not created on the system by adding ;HOME=PPC when you created the user. This message doesn't appear if another user name was set using the Resource Manager Utility (RESMGR). After seeing this message, you can create the user in the RESMGR. Remember to specify any passwords you have set on the file. (See Chapter 10 in this manual for information on how to configure the passwords and/or change the logon.)
