HP Resource Sharing for MPE/iX

PDSERVER 

The PDSERVER process can terminate for several reasons.  The following
table lists the various error numbers and qualifier types that can occur.

For a complete description of the errors of the Buffer, Port, NETIPC, and
VT types, refer to the NS3000/iX manuals.

For a complete description of the errors of the CI (Command Interpreter)
type, refer to the appropriate MPE manual.

A sample NMDUMP output of a PC aborting a host connection is shown below.

The Error field contains error number 20.  The table above shows that
Error 20 is an Iowait error and that it is of the NETIPC ERROR type.  The
Socket error field contains the number 64.  Refer to the NS3000/iX
manuals.  Find Error 64 REMOTE ABORTED THE CONNECTION (SOCKERR 64).
Perform the specified corrective action.

A sample console log of the same error is shown below.

     *NS/3000 NetIPC ERROR IN(module=100);JOB:#S91;PIN:29;Info:8
     - Error: 20
     - Socket error    : 64; REMOTE ABORTED THE CONNECTION.

"Error:  20" refers to the list of PDSERVER errors.  "64; REMOTE ABORTED
THE CONNECTION" refers to the NetIPC error number and message.  Find the
error in the NS3000/iX manuals and perform the specified corrective
action.

A console log of an invalid configured log is shown below.

     ** NS/3000 RESOURCE ERROR IN (module=100);Job:0;PIN:411
     - Error: 40
     - Miscellaneous   : 1424

"Error:  40" refers to the list of PDSERVER errors, which shows that
Error 40 is a NoCreateSession error of the CI type.  The error occurred
when a session was being created.

"Miscellaneous :  1424" refers to the MPE error number.  Look for error
1424 in the MPE manual and perform the specified corrective action.
