Examining Errors
Examining Errors
If you are working interactively, the Synchronization Summary screen
shows the number of errors per table and the Synchronization Detail
screen allows you to investigate further.
These two screens are shown on the next page. Table 9-2 describes the
field in the Synchronization Summary screen.

To Check for Errors:.
This procedure is performed if you are working interactively and have
chosen Option 1, 3, 4, 5, or 6. Once the check has been performed, the
Synchronization Summary screen appears.
The screen lists all tables checked. Tables with any errors are listed
first in alphabetical order, followed by an alphabetical list of tables
with no errors.
1. Select the tables whose results you want to view. To do this,
type an X in the Sel field for each selected table.
2. Press Enter.
The Synchronization Detail screen appears with the first page of
information about the first table selected.
3. To print out all pages of information about that table, choose
Print f1. This sends a copy to the file ADMLIST, which prints to
the default or other specified printer.
To view more pages of information about that table, use the
Previous Page f2 and Next Page f3 function labels.
To view the results for other selected tables, use the Previous
Table f5 and Next Table f6 function labels.
4. To return to the Synchronization Summary screen, choose Done f8.
If you want to view more results, go back to Step`1.
5. To leave the Synchronization Summary screen, first choose Done
f8 until you reach the Synchronization Main screen (the number of
times depends on the option chosen), then choose ADMIN Main f8 to
reach the Administrator Utility Main Menu. From there, you can go
to another screen or exit the utility.
Once you have viewed or printed the results of the synchronization check,
use the Change screens in the Administrator Utility to correct any
mismatches between the table definitions, or the related system or data
source definitions, and the current state of those entities.
