All manuals except for the HP Micro Focus COBOL/iX Implementation Notes are generic to all Micro Focus COBOL products. Therefore, those manuals refer to the Micro Focus COBOL products and reference to Micro Focus COBOL rather than HP Micro Focus COBOL/iX. References to VS COBOL in the manuals refer to the VS COBOL language specified in the COBOL/HP-UX Language Reference Manual. All references to and information about UNIX applies to HP-UX and MPE/iX, unless otherwise noted in the Implementation Notes. Because the HP Micro Focus COBOL/iX Implementation Notes are specific to the Hewlett-Packard implementation of Micro Focus COBOL on MPE/iX, references in this document are to HP Micro Focus COBOL/iX only.
