HP Predictive Support User's Guide Addendum for HP 3000 Series 900
The SWINV Report
The SWINV Report contains the following information:
* the version of the current operating system on which the products
are installed
* the system's software handle (only if Predictive Support is
installed)
* all installed products with their product numbers and descriptions
* all partially installed products with their product numbers and
descriptions
* all bundled products and their subproducts along with the product
numbers and descriptions.
A basic product is considered fully installed when more than 90 percent
of the product files are in place and 100 percent of its modules are in
the system libraries.
A basic product is considered partially installed when more than 60
percent of the product files are in place and 100 percent of its modules
are in the system libraries.
A bundled product consists of multiple subproducts. It is installed if
all its dependent products are installed. The subproducts are classified
as dependent or add-on products.
* A dependent subproduct is associated with modules or segments, or
its product number does not start with "HP". A dependent product
must be partially installed for the bundled product to be
considered installed.
* An add-on subproduct consists of additional files. These files
are not required to be installed for the bundled product to be
considered installed.
