MESSAGE ARPA FTP Error: Incorrect initiation of FTPSRVR. INFO =!

CAUSE The most likely cause is the FTPSRVR was executed from the command

                  files.

MESSAGE ARPA FTP Monitor NON Fatal Error: !

CAUSE The FTP monitor has received an error that has probably caused the
current connection attempt to be aborted.

ACTION The next line will contain the cause of this error. The most likely
                  cause is a resource constraint.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MESSAGE ARPA FTP Server session is dying. Reason follows: !

CAUSE An FTP server session has received an irrecoverable error.

ACTION This message will be followed by a NETIPC (SOCKERR), error message.
Refer to the NS3000/XL Error Messages Reference Manual for the
                  cause/action for the SOCKERR displayed.

Two possible errors are listed below:

ARPA FTP Server session is dying. Reason follows: CONNECTION FAILURE
                  DETECTED. (SOCKERR 67)

CAUSE: The connection to the remote system has suddenly died. This
can be caused by either the local or remote network going down, or by
network problems (ie., retransmission failures, gateway problems,
                  etc).

ACTION: If the problem persists consult the NS3000/XL Operations and
                  Maintenance Manual.

RECEIVED A GRACEFUL RELEASE OF THE CONNECTION. (SOCKERR 68)

CAUSE: This message is caused by the remote FTP closing the
connection without sending a QUIT command. The most likely reason
for this is when a user types CTRL-C from a UNIX FTP user program.

                  ACTION: None.
