Telex Subscriber Addresses

The format for the name and address of a telex subscriber, whether
registered in the Directory or included explicitly in the Distribution
List list of an HP Desk message, is:

[Firstname]_Lastname/Telexnode ([code_]Telexnumber[:Answerback])

where elements enclosed in [square brackets] are optional, and;

_ represents a required blank.

Code is the international or area code, if required. If
present, this code must preserve any embedded
blanks and must be separated from the local area
code by a blank. The local area code, if present,
                      is concatenated with the Telexnumber.

Answerback if used, must be separated from the Telexnumber by
a colon. The answerback is optional unless the HP
Telex system is configured to require its use by
all Level 1 password users. If that is the case,
all HP Desk users must include the answerback in
                      their telex addresses.

Telexnode is the code configured for the HP Desk node which
represents the telex network. The following are
examples of the way in which telex subscribers are
registered in an HP Desk database or addressed in
the Distribution List of an HP Desk message:

                           John Doe/ TELEX1 (007_255_9103731267)

                           Hank Steel/ TELEX (848805:BQDRAW)

where _ represents a required blank.
