Expanding the Directory Hierarchic locations may be configured at any time after the location has been configured, just as locations may be configured at any time after their country exists. During an initial configuration, you will probably find it convenient to configure all the locations for a country and then to declare all those locations which can be addressed hierarchically. Whenever an existing location is changed to be hierarchically addressable, every computer in the network should be reconfigured to reflect the change. The actions to be taken are explained in Chapter 13 .
