UNLOAD 

Syntax 

UNLOAD {[LDEV=]moldev} {[MEDIANAME=]media name};{[SUBNAME=]media subname;}

{[SLOTNUM=]media stg slot #;}

Parameters 

          LDEV         Specifies the LDEV number of the optical disk
                     drive associated with the unit.  The number assigned
                     as the LDEV can range from 2 to 32767.

        MEDIANAME    Specifies the name of the media set to unload.  A
                     media set may occupy multiple storage slots.

        SUBNAME      Specifies a specific piece of media within the media
                     set to unload.

        SLOTNUM      Specifies the number of the media to be unloaded in
                     the specified LDEV. The number can range from 1 to
                     1000.

Description 

The UNLOAD command unlocks the mail slot and releases the specified media
or media storage slot so the media can be removed through the front
panel.  When you execute UNLOAD, the command unlocks the mail slot
associated with the specified LDEV and releases only the media storage
slots specified by the media name or media storage slot.

Examples 

     moutil: UNLOAD LDEV=101;SLOTNUM=16 

     moutil: UNLOAD LDEV=101;MEDIANAME=BK1130PM.D18JAN91.KING
