HP Motif/iX System Administrator's Supplement
Using vt3k
The vt3k program is an HP-UX application that is distributed as part of
the NS product. This application establishes a connection between an HP
9000 and an HP 3000 on the LAN, using the virtual terminal (VT) protocol.
This program may be used from "dumb terminals" connected to HP-UX
machines, or it may be executed within an hpterm window.
To invoke vt3k, enter the following command at the HP-UX workstation
prompt of the window created by hpterm:
[REV BEG]
% vt3k ixmachine
where ixmachine is the node name of the HP 3000 host.[REV END]
For more information on vt3k, refer to the HP-UX manual.
