Appendix C  Store Tape Formats 

This appendix illustrates the tape formats used by TurboSTORE/XL II.
These include:

   *   Unlabeled tape.

   *   Labeled tape.

   *   Online backup tape.

   *   Interleave format tape.

The standard Store format is the format used for unlabeled tapes.  The
other formats are variations of the standard format.  In the case of
labeled tapes, each volume is delimited by standard ANSI or IBM labels.
With online backup tapes, the difference is the addition of log data, and
with interleave format, the order of the files on the tape will not
correspond to the order of the files in the directory.
