Restoring from Single Devices 

Your FILE command gives the backup device a file name and identifies the
device.  To restore files from only one device, backreference that device
in your RESTORE command.  For example,

     FILE T;DEV=TAPE 
     RESTORE *T;@.OPERATOR.SYS
