Configuring System Disks Using VOLUTIL 

If you have additional disks on your system, use the VOLUTIL utility to
define and initalize them.

   1.  Check the status of the disks.

                 :DSTAT ALL 

   2.  Repeat the VOLUTIL commands shown below for each disk you are
       adding to the system.

                 :VOLUTIL 

                 VOLUTIL:SCRATCHVOL !!n!!   ** where !!n!! refers to the
                    address of the disk you are
                    adding to your system **

                 *Verify: Scratch volume on ldev !!n!! [Y/N]? Y 

                 VOLUTIL:NEWVOL MPEXL_SYSTEM_VOLUME_SET:MEMBER!!n n!! 100 100 DISC
                 _

                 *Verify: Initialize new member volume . . .Member!!n!! on ldev !!n!!? Y

                 VOLUTIL:EXIT 

                 :DSTAT ALL
