Setting Passwords 

   1.  Use the following commands to assign passwords to the account SYS,
       user MANAGER, and group PUB for MANAGER.SYS,PUB.

                 :ALTACCT SYS;PASS=!!password!! 
                 :ALTUSER MANAGER;PASS=!!password!!;HOME=!!homegroup!! 
                 :ALTGROUP PUB;PASS=!!password!! 

   2.  Hewlett-Packard also recommends that you set passwords for the
       following accounts and users.  These accounts and users are
       currently created or modified during the FIRST-TIME INSTALLATION,
       REINSTALL or UPDATE process, regardless of the type of products on
       the SUBSYS tape.  You may find that some of these accounts do not
       contain files after you complete the FIRST-TIME INSTALLATION,
       REINSTALL or UPDATE.

          a.  CONV

          b.  CLL

          c.  HPOFFICE

          d.  HPPL85

          e.  HPPL87

          f.  HPPL89

          g.  INDHPE

          h.  ITF3000

          i.  RJE

          j.  SUPPORT

          k.  TELESUP

          l.  SNADS

          m.  SYSMGR

          n.  HPOPTMGT

          o.  HPSKTS

          p.  HPNCS

          q.  NETWARE

          r.  SYS

          s.  HPLANMGR

          t.  HPX11

       The following users are created or modified to have OP and/or PM
       capabilities.  Hewlett-Packard recommends that you set passwords
       for these users.

          a.  MANAGER.SYS

          b.  MGR.HPOFFICE

          c.  FIELD.HPPL85

          d.  MGR.TELESUP

          e.  MGR.SNADS

          f.  MGR.SYSMGR

Record the passwords and keep them in a secure place.
