SYSDEBUG
Accesses the MPE XL Debug Utility.
Syntax
SYS[DEBUG]
Description
The SYSDEBUG command allows the user to access the MPE XL Debugger from
TOOLSET/XL. Upon exiting the Debugger, control is not returned to
TOOLSET/XL automatically. Control will be returned to TOOLSET/XL when a
TOOLSET/XL interrupt is encountered or when execution of the user program
is terminated.
While MPE V and MPE XL Operating Systems are compatible, the underlying
architectures are very different; this impacts TOOLSET's Symbolic
Debugger operation: TOOLSET/XL will be unable to symbolically debug
Compatibility Mode code on the HP 3000. A module transferred to MPE XL
from MPE V must be recompiled using an MPE XL Native Mode compiler before
TOOLSET/XL may be used to symbolically debug it.
