Detail Linesets
The detail lineset is printed for each record in the final access table,
that is, for each detail. You use it to print the detail data in your
report. For example, the specification of a simple listing report only
consists of a detail lineset, one for each record in the report, as shown
in this example:

Data that is not to be repeated for each detail can be printed on other
linesets, such as break headings and break footings, or page headings and
page footings, described later in this chapter. The layout for each
lineset is defined on the Define Lines screen.
Reports Without Detail Lines
You can define reports without detail lines if you want to print only
summarized data. See the sections on break footing linesets and column
calculations in this chapter.
