Moving Files to the MPE XL Machine Move the source programs, data files, databases, form files, and configuration files from the MPE V machine to the MPE XL machine. MPE V files and MPE XL files are STORE/RESTORE compatible. Files can be moved using the STORE command on the MPE V system and the RESTORE command on the MPE XL system. Refer to the MPE XL Commands Reference Manual or type :HELP STORE and :HELP RESTORE for more information about moving files. Database root files and data set files can also be stored using the DBSTORE.PUB.SYS program on the MPE V system and can be restored using the DBRESTORE.PUB.SYS program on the MPE XL system.
