SORT-MERGE/XL General Users Guide

Exiting MERGE/XL 

To terminate access to the MERGE/XL subsystem without performing a merge
operation, use the >EXIT command.  The >EXIT command prevents any merge
operation from being performed and returns you to the MPE XL colon prompt
(:).
