Appendix C  Reading Stable Storage and Nonvolatile Memory 

Certain types of system errors and failures may indicate problems with
the stable storage or nonvolatile memory (NVM). In these cases, your HP
customer engineer may request that you note the contents of certain
locations in these storages.  ISL provides two commands, READSS and
READNVM, that read the contents of storage addresses in stable storage
and nonvolatile memory (NVM).
