MPE/iX System Utilities Reference Manual
DISCFREE
Syntax
DISCFREE
or
RUN DISCFREE.PUB.SYS;INFO="[format][,ldev]"
or
DISCFREE "[[format]][,ldev]"
Operation
Use DISCFREE to display information about the system's free disk space in
histogram or allocation formats. It determines disk volume fragmentation
and transient and permanent disk space limits. DISCFREE also shows total
volume space capacity, as well as disk allocation for single volumes or
for the whole system.
DISCFREE displays disk allocation data only for mounted MPE/iX volumes,
not scratched or unmounted volumes. (You can use the DSTAT command to
identify currently mounted volumes.)
