Deleting Global Resource Identification Numbers (RIN)
The DRIN command removes allocated global resource identification
numbers. DRIN has the following parameter:
DRIN (DR) [GLOBAL =] global-rin number
To delete a global RIN or a range of global RINs, enter DRIN and the RIN
at the MISC configurator prompt. For example:
misc>DRIN 4
misc>DRIN (1,2,3,4,15,84)
The changes made using the DRIN command take effect only if a tape is
created before exiting SYSGEN and the operating system is updated, using
UPDATE CONFIG, or is installed with the newly created tape.
