Managing HP X.400 Administrator's Guide

Chapter 3  Monitoring X.400 

This chapter describes the day-to-day operations required to monitor
X.400.  This includes: 

   *   Displaying process status

   *   Displaying queue status

   *   Displaying software versions

   *   Displaying event log

   *   Formatting and displaying error log

   *   Displaying free disk space

   *   Displaying logging status

   *   Monitoring X.400

   *   Checking X.400 file permissions

Each of these operations can be performed either by typing in a command
at the HP-UX prompt, or by using the X.400 configuration program
(x4admin) which provides a menu interface.

In this chapter, the operations are described using the menu interface.
For more details about the commands, refer to Appendix B.
