Master Title Definition Screen 

This screen allows you to define the text of master titles.  A master
title is a system-wide name or title that allows some aspects of HP
ALLBASE/4GL screens and reports to be customized to suit your particular
site.  This is a selection under the Sys Specs option on the main menu.

Field Descriptions 

Title Name.  Enter the name used to identify the title.

Your HP ALLBASE/4GL support service can tell you the names used for
master titles in your applications.

HP ALLBASE/4GL is case sensitive with respect to master title names, so
check the name carefully when you enter it.

Contents.  Enter the text of the title as it is to be displayed.  The
title can have up to 60 characters.  You can use any printable
characters, including spaces.  Don't use quotes (") unless you want them
to be part of the title.

Function Keys 

f1       System Defn.    Cancels the current screen and displays the
        system definition screen.

f2       Display Control  Cancels the current screen and displays the
        terminal display control screen.

Additional Information 

A master title is a modifiable system-wide prompt or name.  HP
ALLBASE/4GL application developers can use master titles to include
system-wide information on screens and reports in such a way that it can
be easily modified to suit the need of a particular site.

If the application developer uses a master title on a screen or report,
the text that you define on this screen for the master title is used on
the screen or report every time HP ALLBASE/4GL uses the screen or report.

A typical use for master titles is to include a company or department
name on HP ALLBASE/4GL screens and reports.  For example, the developer
may include a master title called company_name in the page headings for a
report, or in the banner line of a screen.  Under these conditions, you
can include your company or department name on the HP ALLBASE/4GL screens
or reports by entering your chosen text for the master title company_name 
on this screen.
