Running HP ALLBASE/4GL 

Before you can sign on to HP ALLBASE/4GL, you must log in to the host
MPE/iX computer system.  The details of this procedure may vary from site
to site.

When you have logged in to MPE/iX, you can start HP ALLBASE/4GL. To do
this you must enter the correct command at the MPE/iX prompt.  If your HP
ALLBASE/4GL system is installed according to the standard installation
procedure, the command to start HP ALLBASE/4GL is:

     HP4GLR Return 

After a few seconds, HP ALLBASE/4GL presents the sign-on screen.

If your HP ALLBASE/4GL system has not been installed under the standard
installation procedure, your HP ALLBASE/4GL support service can tell you
the correct commands to start it.

It's possible that your system has been set up to run HP ALLBASE/4GL
automatically when you log in to MPE/iX. In this case, the HP ALLBASE/4GL
sign-on screen appears automatically.
