Chapter 10 HP TurboIMAGE/iX Interface
Introduction
This section describes the facilities for accessing and using HP
TurboIMAGE/iX databases from HP ALLBASE/4GL applications.
The interface consists of:
* Dictionary data set definitions.
* Dictionary field specification (data item) definitions.
* HP ALLBASE/4GL logic blocks.
* A utility to upload database definitions.
* Database access parameters and definitions (within the
administrator application).
You can add, update, and delete HP TurboIMAGE/iX records (data entries)
from within HP ALLBASE/4GL. However, you cannot physically create an HP
TurboIMAGE/iX database or data set from within HP ALLBASE/4GL.
This manual assumes that you are familiar with the HP TurboIMAGE/iX
database management system. For detailed information about HP
