Introduction to MPE XL for MPE V Programmers Migration Guide

The volset parameter of this command has been modified to accept MPE XL
volume set names.  In MPE V/E, volume set names were composed of
vsidname.group.account.  MPE XL volume set names consist simply of 1 to
32 characters, beginning with an alphabetic character.  The remaining
characters may be alphabetic, numeric, underscores, or periods.

You may still use the MPE V/E form of the name, but you must fully
qualify it.  You cannot specify vsidname alone and expect the group and
account to default.
