Lesson 1: 
Running CI.PUB.SYS 

By running CI.PUB.SYS you can exit the root level of the command
interpreter and enter a nested level.  The system variable HPCIDEPTH
keeps track of your current CI level.


EXIT and BYE 

The new EXIT command and the familiar BYE command allow you to exit any
level of the CI. EXIT backs you out of nested levels, one level at a
time.  If EXIT is used from the root level, the session ends.

The BYE command, used from any level, directly ends the session.

The Break key, as always, temporarily suspends the program.  From a
nested level, it returns you temporarily to the root level.

RESUME returns control to the appropriate CI level.  ABORT aborts all
nested CI programs and leaves the user in the root-level CI.

Exercises 

1.   At the MPE prompt, run the CI program.

2.   Verify that you were successful.

3.   Explain the difference between ending your session using EXIT and
     using BYE.

4.   Choose either method to exit your session.
