The Main Help Menu The on-line help subsystem lets you choose the type of information you need. Three choices are listed on the Main Help menu for the type of help you can receive: * Commands by Topic * Command Summary * Command Description A fourth type of help, Key Description, can be accessed from several places within on-line help, including the Main Help menu. The Commands by Topic selection allows you to get information on how to perform a particular editing function, such as Scrolling. Commands are grouped under the function they perform. This is particularly useful if you want to perform a task but do not know the name of a command that will perform that task. The Command Summary presents a listing of HP EDIT commands and their associated key assignments. If you forget a key assignment, or you wish to use the assigned key rather than a function key, this type of help can be very useful. The Command Description provides a concise description for every HP EDIT command.
