Inserting Text
The Insert Character command is used to insert one or more characters
before the current cursor position.
[REV BEG]
Position the cursor after the word "report" as shown:[REV END]
The command Insert Character may be invoked from function key F1 or
executed by pressing i. Do not press the terminal key labeled Ins Char
(or Ins ). This key is useful when in Text Entry mode but is not
recognized by HP EDIT in Command mode.
[REV BEG]
Press F1, Insert Char [REV END]
[REV BEG]
Type "." to place a period at the end of the sentence.[REV END]
[REV BEG]
Press /[REV END]
[REV BEG]
Press Return[REV END]
