Learning HP EDIT

Keeping a File 

Text changes are saved using the Keep Text command.  The Keep Text
command may be executed by pressing the Keep Text function key or by
pressing the k key, which has been assigned to the Keep Text command.
[REV BEG]

     Press  Keep Text [REV END]

HP EDIT responds by displaying the filename it will write:

Type Return to save file, CTRL-Y to cancel,...

Save text to file LESSON2

Now you may do one of the following:

   *   Confirm the keep operation by pressing Return.

   *   Change the filename by typing [REV BEG]in a new name after the
       prompt.[REV END]

   *   Abort the operation by pressing the CTRL and the Y keys at the
       same time.

Save this file so that you can use it in the next lesson.
[REV BEG]

     Press Return[REV END]

After HP EDIT saves the file you are returned to your file.
