status
Required, by Reference; type = STATUS_TYPE
Used to return information from the Intrinsic.
This gives the overall result of the operation. It does not matter what
it contains when the Intrinsic is called.
General Information about HPDTerminate
HPDTerminate allows an application to sign off from the current user or
gateway specified in the last call to HPDUserSignon or HPDGateSignon. It
need not be called before a call to the sign on Intrinsics as this
results in automatic logging off from the first user or gateway.
However, if an application does not call HPDTerminate before it
terminates, the signed on user appears to HP Desk as being signed on
until the job or session running the application signs on to that user
again, or logs off with a BYE, :EOJ or :EOF.
NOTE It is advisable for user applications to call HPDTerminate before
closing down as HPDTerminate deletes files and generally "tidies
up" after an Intrinsics session. In particular, failure to call
HPDTerminate will mean files named HPDI.... and HPDO.... will be
left in the MPE permanent and temporary file domains.
