Steven M. Cooper has been professionally involved with high-level software
since 1973. He entered the HP 3000 community in 1977. At American
Management Systems, Inc., Mr. Cooper managed the HP 3000 efforts
of the corporation, including the design, development, and marketing
of the highly successful Environment/3000 product. At AMS, Mr.
Cooper managed some of the largest application software development
projects ever undertaken on the HP 3000. Mr. Cooper left AMS to
co-found Allegro Consultants. He has a BA in Computer Science
from U.C. San Diego and an MBA from UCLA.
