 What is an HP e3000?
The Hewlett-Packard HP e3000 is a highly reliable, easy to use,
mainframe and/or super-minicomputer. It can support from a few up to thousands of
users. The operating system is MPE/iX (MultiProgram Executive, posIX

Note: the computer is properly called an "HP e3000", but with the
advent of web search tools (which generally don't care for a space
in the middle of a name), you will frequently see it referred to
as an "HP3000".
