Report highlights

This is a detail list report that allows you to identify loans that have been assigned an incorrect variable rate code. MCU assigns a different collateral code to loans that are fixed rate from those that are variable rate. Essentially, this report provides the credit union with a list of loans where the variable rate code assigned to the loan is not consistent with the parameters that have been set up for each of the collateral codes. Typically, an input error will result in a loan's variable rate code being entered differently than intended, based on the loan's collateral code. This report allows us to identify these errors early on and correct them before they can adversely affect the member. It also allows us to verify that loan officers are not violating internal policies or attempting to commit fraud by inappropriately changing rates in this manner.

The worksheet is all that is necessary to create the report. However, the report has been automated to run at the end of the month without input or interference from an operator. In this way, the report is printed and waiting with the other month end reports.
