Report highlights

This report demonstrates some of the amazing flexibility and power of QueryCalc. It produces a sample of loans from the database for a given range of collateral codes, borrowers whose last name begins with a specific letter(s), and a stated sample size. The report lists out various data pertinent to performing the audit. The auditor can compare the report data to the actual loan files. A work area is provided on the report and specific check items are listed. This can reduce the amount of time an auditor spends verifying loan information and can consequently reduce the cost of the audit.

The sample of loans can be set up in many ways. MCU's auditors have agreed to sample an approximate number of loans. QueryCalc can create a random sample from the database with a simple addendum to the command. However, our auditors wanted to narrow the search each month and look for names that started with certain letter(s). This too, was easily incorporated. When the auditors arrive, they can specify the letter(s) desired. The report can be modified and produced at that time in less than five minutes.
